The purpose of this project is to provide overviews of person-centered practices to people with disabilities, small HCBS providers, transit workers, housing providers and others who are unable to access the traditional 2-day Person-Centered Thinking training.
- The Arrowhead Regional Quality Council is developing short, accessible overviews of person-centered concepts targeted toward specific groups. These groups will include disabled people, small HCBS providers, transit workers, and housing providers/caretakers who are often unable to commit to a full 2-day training in Person-Centered Thinking.
- The ARQC will be developing these trainings with assistance from the Institute on Community Integration and the St Louis County Regional Cohort and will be implemented across the Arrowhead region by ARQC staffers and trainers.
- The ARQC will conduct focus groups and world cafes to understand the specific needs of each of the stakeholder groups.
