How did you get involved with the Regional Quality Council and The Arc?

I first learned about The Arc in my early teen years. My Dad served on The Arc SE MN Board and so I did a lot of volunteering on fundraising. I went off and lived my life and then in 1999 started a part-time job at The Arc and eventually came to love the organization and applied for a full-time job and have been with The Arc ever since. I have held several different roles at The Arc, with the latest as a Regional Quality Council Associate. I have been in this position since January of 2023. I love the work that the Councils do and it’s rewarding to be in a job that can provide support to those with disabilities and learn how we can strive to make changes for the betterment of the disability community.
