How did you get involved with the Quality Council and the Arc?
I have been involved with The Arc Minnesota since 2016 in various capacities. In the final semester of my Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work Program, I was an intern for The Arc Minnesota. When my internship ended, I stayed involved with The Arc as a volunteer interviewer for the Metro Regional Quality Council. In 2018, I was hired as a staff to do Person Centered Planning. I have had many roles since then, and transitioned to the role of Regional Capacity Building Manager in 2024. In this role, I support the Positive Supports Networks in the Metro, West Central, and Southern areas of Minnesota.
