How did you get involved with the Regional Quality Council and The Arc?

For years after I graduated from college in 2006 I worked in positions that put me on the ground with people using services, in homeless shelters, treatment centers, and employment programs. When I saw a position for a housing coordinator open up at Arc Northland I was excited for the possibility of working for a small organization doing such important work, and the more I learned about Arc Northland’s history and engagement in the community I knew I wanted to be part of it. The ARQC offers the best of both worlds. I get to build projects that have the ability to make a real difference in people’s lives and I also get to advocate for change and improvements to services within the county and state levels. I am immensely honored to be part of the work of the Regional Quality Councils and part of a great team at Arc Northland.
