DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free\, 4 part series to learn the basics of Person Centered Thinking! \nJuly 23rd\, July 30th\, August 6th\, August 13th \n11:00AM-12:00PM \nParticipants are strongly encouraged but not required to attend all four sessions. \nTraining Description \nPerson-Centered Thinking® (PCT) is a set of values\, skills and tools that underlies the work we do to support people to have a meaningful life. In times of uncertainty\, PCT gives us insight about how to provide services that give people positive control and self-direction over the lives they choose to lead. \nTo help you learn more about PCT skills\, we are hosting a four-part training series designed for those who have not taken the full\, two-day PCT training. Zips will be running until 8:00pm the night of the event. Ride request for this event will open at the beginning of July. You must already be approved to use Zips in order to get a ride for this event. \n  \nWhat is happening at the event? \nThere will be: \n\nMusic\nArt and activities\nResource tables and information booths\nQuiet areas and sensory friendly spaces\nSmall business owned by people with disabilities\n\n  \nWho can come? \nEveryone is welcome! This event is for people with disabilities\, family members\, friends\, caregivers\, and allies. \n  \nDo I need to wear a mask? \nWe encourage everyone to wear a mask to help keep our community safe\, especially people who are at higher risk. We understand that not everyone is able to wear a mask. That’s okay. \nMasks are a way we show care for each other\, and we’re creating a space where everyone feels included.
