SUMMARY:People Planning Together Training
DESCRIPTION:What is People Planning Together? \nPeople Planning Together\, also called PPT\, is a training for self-advocates taught by a self-advocate. During the training\, participants will create a Person Centered Plan. \nWhy should I come to this training? \nThe class helps people identify what is meaningful to them and what they want in their lives. Through activities and discussion\, people in the class get a deeper understanding of what is important to them and for them. They use this information to develop a plan with meaningful outcomes for their life. \nWhat should I bring? \n\nA writing utensil\nA supporter (Personal Assistant)- This is someone who knows you\, can discuss the training topics with you\, and can help during the day with personal cares and writing.  CLICK HERE for more info about the Personal Assistant’s role. \n\nTraining Details \nDate and Time: This is a three part series.
